I was privileged to catch The Defiled’s triumphant homecoming show in London at The Underworld on the weekend. Absolute blinder. They handle any venue / gig size so well. They let me come backstage and annoy them while they got ready too. I hope you like these as much as I do.

Every now and again, you get to witness something truly life affirming that resonates with your soul. Last Friday, at 11am, I saw just that. The Defiled are a band I’ve only come to be aware of in the last two months. I’ve no idea how I’ve not heard about them before, but, I am glad I have now.
They exhibit something resoundingly fresh and vital with both their performance and their music.
I feel blessed to have been there, blessed to have captured these moments that I share with you via these photographs and blessed to be amongst the legions that truly LOVE heavy metal.
Keep an eye on these guys, they have the attitude, the panache, the “don’t give a fuck” sentiment that’s sorely missing from heavy music as of late.
And they’re top lads too!
